With reference to your letter of the 18th instant, мо
No. 8339/07, concerning tho re-opening of the Trans-Siberian
route for the conveyance of mails for the Par Rast, I am
directed by the Postmastor General to send horowith two
additional copies of the Public Notice and one additional copy
de of each of the Circulars enclosed in the latter of the 5th
instant from this Office. It is regrotted that further copies
of the Circulars are not available. The Secretary of State
for the Colonies may, however, like to know that copies of
those Circulars have already boon forwarded from this Depart-
ment to the Post Office of Hong Kong.
With regard to correspondenes from the Colonial Office
intonded for transmission to the Far East by way of Siboria,
am to explain that it will be advisable, at any rate for the
present, to post not later than Saturday in each wook to
Connect with the Wednesday Steamer from Vladivostok
for Japan
and not later than Wednesday to connect with the Sunday
